Back to School

Wilmington students are back to school, and WCTV is ready to showcase their talents.

We kicked off the season with something new: player interviews to preview the fall sports season at Wilmington High School.  Click below to hear from stand-outs on the soccer, football, volleyball, golf, field hockey and cross country teams.

Speaking of football, there's a new head coach this year.  You can hear his thoughts on the team right here, ahead of their season opener against Shawsheen Tech on Friday night.

The football team isn't the only group getting ready for Friday Night Football.  The band and cheerleaders are also prepped for the season ahead:

WCTV plans to air each of the 4 Wilmington High School Football Games.  They won't be on live, but we expect a quick turnaround.  Look for Friday night's games to be online and on our Education Channel (Comcast 99 / Verizon 39) by Monday night.

Also... if you're looking for the latest content coming from the high school, tune in to WCTV Education each Wednesday and Friday nights from 7P to midnightThat's our Wildcat TV Block. And it's where you'll find fresh WHS programs as the school year gets going.

Interested in covering high school sports??  We're looking for volunteers.  You don't need technical experience to know how to operate a camera.  And even getting some game footage will be appreciated, not just by the players, but by the community.  Contact WCTV's Adam Dusenberry (adusenberry@wctv.org) for details on how you can help.
