Programming Notes: Oct. 3rd-8th

This week we introduced some great new shows to all three channels. Most importantly, we have three new sports games added to the education channel. Check out the notes below to see all the programming now available online and on TV.

Yentile Farm October Update
The October update from Yentile Farm is now online and on the public channel. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the work being done at the Yentile Farm Recreational Facility. The park is really beginning to take shape.

WHS Varsity Field Hockey 9/28/16
The WHS Varsity field hockey team takes to the grass to dominate Burlington at Alumni Field in a 4-0 win. Thanks to our student announcers in their debut broadcasting appearance!

WHS Boys Soccers VS. Burlington 9/29/16
The WHS Wildcat Boys Varsity Soccer team takes on the Burlington Red Devils on Alumni field. This gripping game includes a big late save, and it ends in a 0-0 tie.

Wakefield vs. WHS Football game 9/30/16
The WHS Wildcats Varsity football team take on the Wakefield Warriors at Landrigan Field in Wakefield. The Wildcats give their all but lose to the Warriors 27-0. Special thanks to Wakefield Community Access Television for sharing the link to their YouTube channel and giving us permission to show the highlights on the education channel.

2016 Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial
Members of the State Police Command staff mark the 30th annual Law Enforcement Memorial at the State House in Boston. Special thanks to the Massachusetts State Police for filming and giving us permission to show the 2016 Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial.

Seniors Visit Norman Rockwell Museum
The Buzzell Senior Center took a trip to Stockbridge, MA last month to the Norman Rockwell Museum. Wilmington resident Mark Ryan captured the event and put together this great short video. Thank you Mark, great job.

STOP HUNGER NOW
The Wilmington United Methodist Church held an event "Stop Hunger Now". Towns people helped assemble prepared meals for less fortunate countries and individuals around the world:

Rhyme Time Diner
The WCTV Video Explorers after school club made their first video of the season. They took the old Zoom classic "Rhyme Time Diner" and made it their own. Great job kids!!
