WCTV YOUTH
WCTV Youth offers programs year-round for children to get hands-on experience making their own content and television programs. Our job is to give them the right equipment, teach them how to use it, and give them the creative freedom to do their thing. Students can enjoy anything from scriptwriting, camera skills, acting, editing, and more! The final videos the students create get uploaded to our Video on Demand and the WCTV Youth YouTube channel for everyone to enjoy!
Our students have produced some truly incredible work, including professional, paid sports videography, acclaimed short films, podcasts, and even an incredible feature-length movie that premiered at a movie theater this past summer!
Our 2025 Summer programing was arguably our most robust and acclaimed yet, including our Advanced Videographers finishing their feature-length movie with shoots in Worcester, Lowell and the Woburn District Court, and our young filmmakers producing several short films. And Summer 2026 promises to be even more incredible!
WCTV’s Summer 2026 Youth Programs represent our most diverse and in-depth lineup ever, with unique offerings designed specifically for students at every stage—from those entering 3rd grade all the way through 12th. Each program is tailored to its age group, ensuring students are learning, creating, and being challenged at the right level—whether they’re just discovering their creativity or ready to dive into advanced production. From filmmaking and podcasting to sports media and storytelling, students don’t just learn about media—they create it, working with professional equipment in a real studio environment alongside WCTV’s production team. It’s a summer built around creativity, confidence, and real-world experience. Learn More Here!
